On the corner of Burney and N. Fifth streets, the future Canaan Corner Store will replace this 1980s block building that has been designated slum and blight. Redevelopment plans offer to this walking neighborhood an accessible corner pantry, without alcoholic beverages and video gambling per neighborhood request.
